PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility Phase One Expansion and Renovation program is focused primarily in providing additional ambulatory care services to improve the quality and level of services to the patients in this region.

The physical expansion area is directly west of the existing hospital which will improve efficiency between ambulatory services and existing ancillary services. A new ambulatory care entrance and lobby/waiting room will also be provided.

The ambulatory care expansion is also and opportunity for the Chinle Service Unit to be one of the first to offer and integrated healthcare delivery model of services to patients. It will be a true patient-centered concept where patients will be empanelled to patient care teams, each consisting of 4 to 5 providers across disciplines with support staff.

The ambulatory care services provided include Urgent Care, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Podiatry, Audiology, Specialty Care, Pediatrics and Women's Clinic.
